A special workshop cohosted by Barley’s Angels MKE. All members welcome and they are extending this event to the public!

Come sip delicious drafts and make a beautiful mosaic plaque! Gather with friends and get the creative juices flowing. We offer a vast selection of tiles in many colors, sizes, and shapes as well as a few templates to assist in your design. All of this on your choice of plaque shape!

Two Mikes Art Factory will grout all projects after the workshop. Finished projects will be available at a later date for pick up. Details will be determined at the end of the workshop. If you choose to instead paint your plaque before gluing tiles and not use grout, you may take it home that evening.

The workshop will be open 10 minutes before the event starts.

 One ticket per person includes:

• All supplies and materials to make 1 mosaic plaque.
• 2 hours of fun with friends.
• This workshop is non-refundable. If you are unable to make it, you may send someone else in your place or pick up an art kit from the venue after the class has been held.
• All attendees require a ticket to enter.
• Recommended age: 21+, NOT recommended for young children and babies.
• Attendees under the age of 21 must be accompanied by an adult.

About Us: Our names are Kristy and Kelly and we met a long time ago while working in the floral industry. We have expressed our natural artistic talents since childhood and come from loving, close-knit families with creative backgrounds. With our college degrees in art and design along with over 45 years of combined professional experience, we have decided to share our studies and creativity with others by hosting creative workshops to help people discover their inner artist.

Why Two Mikes?!?! Terrible diseases took our dads away from us. They were both named Mike and were both creative geniuses! (The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.) The second mission of our workshops is to contribute a portion of our profits to the American Lung Association and the Association for Frontotemporal Dementia in memory of our dads.

About Barley’s Angels Milwaukee:  A group of women dedicated to working with craft-beer focused establishments to advance the female craft beer enthusiast. Meetings: Our meetings will rove though out Milwaukee. We hope to expose members to new bars and restaurants that are focused on serving craft beer. Suggestions are always welcome! We will have a social hour at 6pm and the meetings will start at 7pm. Typically they will last 1-2 hours (depending on the presentations or samplings) Each meeting we will discuss upcoming events (both BA and other events in town). We will plan brewery samplings, panels of speakers from through out the MKE craft beer community and educational ‘classes’ (such as home brewing demonstrations, food and beer pairing, etc). Each meeting will have something different to learn! Barley’s Angels is not just a social, beer-drinking club for women. Barley’s Angels respect beer and brewing, have a thirst for education, enjoy beer responsibly and act appropriately at all times.

About Amorphic Beer: It got its start in a corporate cubicle at a large multinational conglomerate with a group of engineers. Fast forward a decade and change, and instead of designing computed tomography (CT) systems, gas turbine engines, and nuclear submarine components, our attention is now devoted to beer.

Art and Science, that’s what beer is. We take the science part to the extreme, developing models for flavor profiles and brewing processes with the same methods from that annoying corporate job. We design and build almost everything ourselves (including the beer of course), in order to achieve the exact results we are looking for!

Our passion comes from trying to make the best beer we possibly can, learning something new with each batch, and taking that knowledge into the next one.

We rarely make the same beer twice to keep it interesting, but you’ll find our beers are: HOP FORWARD (Hazy and West Coast IPAs), CZECH LAGER-Y (Pilsner, Tmavé Pivo, etc.), and WEIRD SH!T (how’s a cactus fruit and hibiscus sour, or a cucumber gin botanical lemon sea salt Kölsch sound?).
