Two Mikes Art Factory won the People’s Choice Award two days in a row in the 2019 Bloomin’ Holidays exhibit at the Museum of Wisconsin Art (MOWA). Voters chose our floral interpretation of the handblown glass sculpture “Interconnection” as Best in Show both Saturday and Sunday.
“Interconnection” is an original piece of art designed by Douglas and Renee Sigwarth and is on permanent display at the museum. Our interpretation included a variety of florals, foliage, and seasonal ornaments.
Bloomin’ Holidays annually brings together designers from all over the state of Wisconsin to express their creativity. In all, twenty four artists participated in the event. A big thank you to MOWA and all those who came out this weekend to see so many wonderful floral interpretations of Wisconsin art!
